Initial Site Visit

Our process begins with an initial site meeting at your home or property. We tour the project space together and discuss ideas, goals, budgets, schedules and potential challenges. During this visit, we will take take field measurements at your home and get an understanding of the scope of your project. This information will help to best estimate your project and understand services that you require.

Cost Planning

This step will provide estimated costs to prepare the estimate/propsal needed in your situation based on our experience in the business. We will identify the necessary professionals and processes required to get your project to the build stage. Due to the time and effort necessary to provide a reliable cost of project, Classic Houseworks will charge a cost planning fee based on the project size. Typically a few hundred dollars and up depending on the scope and detail of work.

Design Meeting

In this meeting, we will revisit and further refine the style and design of your renovation or build. We will discuss your lifestyle and schedule needs during construction. We will weigh needs and wants based on budget and other constraints. Design can take anywhere from a few weeks to several months, depending on the complexity and scope of your project.

Estimate & Proposal

We provide a detailed proposal along with real world bugetary numbers to assist you when choosing materials. The approved proposal becomes your construction plan and specifications. At this point you will have a complete package that you can send out to bid or continue with Classic Houseworks to build your project.

Construction

Our crews and trade contractors are not only the best in the business, but you'll also find them personable and helpful. Our talented craftsmen have worked closely in our clients' homes for years, building a high level of trust and friendship. We comply to the highest standards of safety and reliability, taking care to minimize the disruption in your home while your renovation is underway. Most of our crews and trade contractors have have been our go to guys for years. They are our preferred craftsman for the simle fact that they are incredibly skilled at what they do. They provide the entire package or fair pricing, honest work, and integrity which we have come to expect from all of our trade professional.

Completion

We work hard to finish all aspects of your project before you move back in or begin to use the space. Near the end of every project we have a completion list. We will compile this list together and assign a value to the remaining tasks. Final payment is due upon completion of this list. We guarantee our work for 2 years and have been known to make minor repairs years later as a courtesy to our best clients.
